DAEDALUS
*Greek
Daedalus was a famous craftsman and inventor from Athens. After
murdering his nephew, Talos, he served King Minos of Crete and devised
the maze in which the MINOTAUR was kept. With his son, Icarus, he tried
to escape from Crete using wings made of feathers and wax. But Icarus
flew to near the sun, the wax binding his wings melted, and he fell to
his death.
